في الدورة الثانية من مهرجان صبح الإعلامي، تم تقديم "الجائزة الخاصة لقسم فلسطين" للفنانة سهاد الخطيب عن لوحاتها المؤثرة في عرض مظلومية الشعب الفلسطيني والإبادة الجماعية في غزة 

 في الدورة السابقة من مهرجان صبح الإعلامي، أقيم مؤتمر تخصصي عن مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بمشاركة كل من: تود هيكي (فكاهي إيرلندي)، ريتشارد مدهرست (صحفي بريطاني)، أحمد كابالو (صحفي سوداني – بريطاني)، علي حسن (صحفي سوري).
