Article 1: Preliminary
The Sobh Film Market is a core section of the Sobh International Media Festival, an event powered by the Sobh International Studies Center.
Article 2: Aims and Objectives
The 1st Sobh Film Market for Films and Television Programs will take place in Tehran, May 6-9, 2025. The market aims to foster an arena for the presentation, promotion and distribution of family-friendly, humane and moral content, explicitly avoiding violence, eroticism and nudity.
To achieve this, Sobh Film Market provides exclusive B2B meeting and exchange opportunities for participating producers, distributors, exhibitors, financing companies, VOD/OTT platforms and sales agents of films and TV programs.
Article 3: Registration
Participation in the Sobh Film Market is restricted to professionals, including buyers, sellers, distributors, producers, investors, exhibitors, and representatives of TV channels, VOD, and OTT platforms.
Participating professionals (whether exhibitors or non-exhibitors without a stand) must send an email to market@sobhfestival.com to register.
Article 4: Stand Reservation Conditions
Subject to availability, the Sobh Film Market will allocate each exhibitor a stand of approximately 3×3 square meters in size, equipped with a set of chairs, a table and a monitor.
NOTE: Advertising, promotion, or screening of films or television programs outside the allocated stand area is strictly prohibited.
Article 5: Stand Interior Decoration
Exhibitors must ensure that decorations do not damage the panels or structure of the stand. Exhibitors will be held liable for any damages incurred.
Article 6: Stand Screening
Screenings within the stand area or video rooms must use headphones to avoid disturbing other exhibitors. Participants are strongly encouraged to present films or television programs in English or with English subtitles.
Article 7: Booth Management
The Sobh Film Market will take place in Tehran from May 6–9, 2025, operating from 16:00 to 22:00 daily. Stands must be fully set up before the market opens and cannot be dismantled before the event’s final day.
At least one representative must manage each stand during market hours for the entire duration of the event. Exhibitors who leave early must ensure their stand is cleaned and appropriately decorated before departure.
