Career:
Igor Lopatonok is an experienced producer in the film and television industry, having worked on a variety of projects, including documentaries, series, and feature films. He began his studies at the age of 16, initially pursuing engineering at Dnipropetrovsk National University, and later studied international finance at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, where he worked for several years. One notable example of his work is the colorization of “Only Old Men Are Going into Battle” (1973), a Soviet war drama that was originally filmed in black and white.
Memberships and Engagements:
Igor Lopatonok is a member of the National Center for Cinema and Image Animation and is recognized as a member of a French organization that supports filmmakers. He is also affiliated with the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers in the United States and serves on the Producers Association in Ukraine. Additionally, Igor is the founder of the Ukrainian Film Commission, an independent non-profit organization in the international film production market.
