Hamid Shahabadi

Hamid Shahabadi, who was born on December 10, 1964 in Qom, in addition to studying philosophy at the University of Tehran and a master’s degree in philosophy of religion at Allameh Tabatabaei University, has completed introductory, advanced, and advanced courses in jurisprudence, principles, and Islamic philosophy and beyond jurisprudence at the seminaries of Ayatollah Mojtahid, Martyr Ayatollah Shahabadi, and Marvi Tehran, under the supervision of professors such as Ayatollah Hajj Sheikh Mojtaba Tehrani and Ayatollah Seyyed Razi Shirazi.

Hamid Shahabadi is the artistic deputy of the second government of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the son of Ayatollah Shahabadi.

Hamid Shahabadi holds a PhD in comparative philosophy and has been the deputy director of research, planning, and supervision of the national media and the director of the organization’s planning and program center since September 2016. He also has a history of being the director of the deputy director of the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation.

Shahabadi, who has been the deputy head of the IRIB’s sound department for four years since October 2017, holds a PhD in comparative philosophy and has also been the acting deputy head of the IRIB’s research, planning, and supervision of the national media and the head of the organization’s planning and program center since September 2016.

The new deputy head of the organization for sound affairs also served as the artistic advisor to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the 11th government from 2013 to 2016, and before that, he served as the deputy head of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the 10th government.
