Hossein Darabi is an Iranian director, producer, and screenwriter known for his work on short films such as Mother, Neighbor, The Cursed, Sahri (Pre-Dawn Meal), Dāyu, Intruder, and Pot. His debut feature film, Mosalat (Expediency), produced in 2020, was selected for the Fajr Film Festival. Darabi’s filmography also includes works like Awaiting, Steering Wheel Lock, The Night of the Mourning Assembly, Coat Pocket, Constellation, and Whisper. His projects often blend intimate storytelling with explorations of social and cultural themes, showcasing his versatility across both short and feature-length formats.
