Sobh Media Festival Extends Submission Deadline to February 20 | 4th Edition

The Secretary of the 4th Sobh Media Festival has announced a 20-day extension for the festival’s call for entries, responding to strong interest and numerous requests from participants.
The Secretary of the festival, Ehsan Kaveh,expressed his satisfaction with the broad participation from media professionals and artists worldwide. He stated that the submission deadline has been extended to February 20. So far, works have been submitted from approximately 50 countries across various festival categories, including television series, feature films, documentaries, news reports, and more.
Kaveh also announced that the awards ceremony will take place on April 28, 2026, in Tehran, attended by award winners, jury members, and prominent international media figures. He emphasized that this extension will be the final deadline for submissions due to the time-consuming nature of the judging process.
The fourth edition of the Sobh Media Festival, which has been active since 2023, operates in two sections: the main section and a special section dedicated to Palestine. The festival aims to showcase leading international content creators, encourage collaboration among content producers, and promote global cooperation and media interaction.
The Sobh Media Festival seeks to discover outstanding media talent, honor innovators, support creative movements, and provide a platform for strengthening artistic productions and building a professional, impactful international media movement.
In the main section, works are accepted in various categories, including television series and programs, documentaries, news and narrative reports, motion graphics, feature, viewpoint, and investigative articles, radio productions and podcasts, as well as social media-related works such as animation, short films, videocasts, and vlogs.
In the special section dedicated to Palestine, artists may submit works in formats including feature films, music, documentaries, television programs, clips, short films, short animations, news blogging, and illustrations.
This edition of the festival has allocated cash prizes of up to €5,000.
