Sobh Media Festival 2026 Postponed, Introduces “Ramadan War” Section

Sobh Media Festival 2026 Postponed, Introduces “Ramadan War” Section

Important Notice on the Schedule Change of the 4th Sobh Media Festival

Due to the recent U.S.–Israeli aggression against Iran, the Sobh Media Center announces that the 4th edition of the Sobh Media Festival, originally scheduled to take place in late April 2026, has been postponed. The new date for the festival will be announced in due course.

In response to the recent U.S.–Israel war and with the aim of documenting, analyzing, and narrating its various dimensions, the 4th Sobh Media Festival will introduce a new section titled “Ramadan War.”

This special section, dedicated to narratives, documentation, and media productions addressing the Ramadan War and the hostile actions of the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran, will accept submissions in a variety of formats.

Submitted works may follow all formats previously announced in the festival’s call for submissions, including:

Documentaries
News reports
Podcasts
Motion graphics and short animations
Posters and graphic works
Articles
and other related formats.

Please note that new submissions must exclusively address the theme of the “Ramadan War” and the attacks carried out by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran. These works will compete alongside the entries previously submitted to the festival secretariat.

Accordingly, the submission window will remain open only for this newly added section. From this stage onward, the festival will accept submissions solely for the “Ramadan War” section.

In addition, among the special awards of the Sobh Media Festival, a dedicated “Ramadan War Award” will be presented by the jury to the media work or initiative that has had the most significant impact in narrating and documenting this imposed war.
