PhD in Philosophy, Queen’s University, Belfast, 2019
He has a canon of over twenty films that he has produced, directed, written, and edited.
His short drama “Fractured City” has also been showcased in international film festivals around the world, winning a Royal Television Society Award in London.
He is the director of the Respect Human Rights Film Festival and the Guerrilla Film Club in Belfast.
He is a former researcher and coordinator of the Queen’s Film Theatre’s “Conversations about Cinema: Impact of Conflict” program.
His recent feature documentary, “Unquiet Graves,” toured internationally and won the Royal Television Society Award for Best Documentary in 2019.
He has extensive experience working with victims and survivors. The theme of his PhD investigates the role of film as advocacy for those affected by political violence.
