Falsification will not overcome the truth

Falsification will not overcome the truth

In the name of God

“Falsification will not overcome the truth.”

The man who uttered these words during the largest gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly relied on the glory of spirituality and the power of monotheism.

Ayatollah Dr. Ebrahim Raeisi, a descendant of true spiritual warriors, trained in the school of fighting against oppression, aggression, and arrogance to the point of sacrificing his life for a cause, said: “Falsification will not overcome the truth.”

He stood by this belief in the case of Palestine and the tragic events that have been unfolding in Gaza in recent months. He was loyal to this belief all his life. The issue of Palestine, with its bleeding wounds in the torn bodies of the martyrs, and the tears of the homeless children who lost their parents, as well as the displaced homeless, was a concern for the president of Iran.

This concern arose whenever unilateralism, aggression, and humiliation of people were manifested. He valued the effort to establish a new world order and a new geometry of power. He strived to advance Iran’s foreign policy based on mutual respect, expansion of relations, and creation of a new front with alternative parties in the land of the self-proclaimed order of traditional great powers, as well as enhancing Iran’s identity in the region made it brighter and more effective by each passing day.

Undoubtedly, this was the factor that made the martyred president of Iran – who sacrificed his life for the progress of the country and served the people in the remote border regions – interested in attending the 2nd Sobh International Media Festival. An auspicious meeting that was not meant to be.

The director, members of the policymaking council, the executive manager, and the officials of the secretariat of the 2nd Sobh International Media Festival are deeply saddened by the news of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Dr. Ebrahim Raeisi, the President of Iran; Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in East Azarbaijan province and the Friday prayer leader in Tabriz, along with their beloved companions. We pray for a peaceful journey in the world of light for these precious martyrs.
